The Scientific Committee has defined the general topics under which we are requesting abstracts for this congress, split along 7 key themes. The main focus for this congress is on practical applications - please bear this in mind when preparing your abstract and make sure you have some new, relevant case studies to share. Best of luck with your submission!
There are two calls for abstracts for this congress, with differing requirements and submission procedures. Please make sure you have read the submission instructions and advice for submitters carefully before submitting your abstract.

Review and selection of abstracts and worskops/symposia proposals
The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts and session proposals that have been submitted on time and in the specified format. Abstracts and session proposals will be scored according to their originality, innovation and practical applications. They will then be selected for oral presentation, poster presentation, workshop/symposium session or rejection (see below).
Presenting authors will be notified of the outcome of their submission by e-mail beginning November 2012.
Abstracts may be:
Accepted for oral presentation
Presenters will give an oral presentation based on their abstract, usually supported by PowerPoint slides, during a congress session. Oral presenters will be advised of their presentation date, format and length by the secretariat once their abstract has been accepted.
Accepted for poster presentation
Presenters need to prepare a poster that will be placed on the poster presentation boards that are displayed prominently throughout the event. A dedicated poster viewing session will take place during the congress and presenting authors are required to be present. The date and time of this session will be communicated to poster presenters via the notification e-mail. Please note that poster presentations do not represent an opportunity to deliver a presentation orally.
Accepted for workshops/symposia sessions
The submitter (session organiser) is responsible for the session format. The speakers and chairmen will be advised of their session date and session room by the congress secretariat once the session proposal has been accepted.
Rejected
No presentation possibility during this congress.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the congress programme booklet and monograph of abstracts.
Registration of presenting authors
All authors accepted for presentation (including workshops/symposia speakers and chairmen) must register for the congress and pay the registration fee before end November 2012 in order to confirm their presentation. Failure to do this could result in losing your presentation slot.
